Civil Air Patrol, the longtime all-volunteer U.S. Air Force auxiliary, is the newest member of the Air Force’s Total Force. There are over 60,000 members in more than 1,700 units nationwide. For more than 70 years, CAP has performed the following congressionally mandated missions:

Squadron 80 performs air/ground search and rescue and provides resources for disaster relief operations in Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Squadron meets at Reid-Hillview Airport every Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. except on holidays.
