The cadet program is designed to inspire young people between the ages of 12 and 18 to become leaders and dynamic American citizens through an interest in aviation. Through studies and other activities, cadets work their way through a series of achievements where they:

Participate in a variety of special activities.
Develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for understanding the impact of aerospace technology upon society.
Learn self-discipline through the study of leadership practices.
Understand and appreciate the moral issues of our time through discussion and debate.
Become and remain physically fit through a special physical fitness program.
Squadron 80 is “Senior Squadron,” which means that we don’t have a cadet program. However, we share our facilities with Squadron 36, who is a cadet only squadron.
